Data Transfer Methods | We support the wireless web service telematics transfer as well as Email transfer methods specified by the FMCSA. The driver will select DOT Inspection from within the app drawer on the left side of the app. From there, the driver can press "SEND LOGS" to create an eRODS file to be sent to FMCSA. Next, the driver will be prompted to enter an "Officer Note" if specified by the authorized safety official. Finally, the driver will choose between sending the file via Web service or Email. In the case of both of the described methods fail, or there is no internet, we provide an on-screen inspection mode as well. The driver will select "BEGIN INSPECTION" to start on screen inspection of their logs. |
Malfunction Notes | Our applications monitor the ELD for compliance with the data requirements. This includes the detection of power, engine synchronization, timing compliance, positioning compliance, data recording, data transfer, as well as unidentified driving events as specified in section 4.6 of the ELD mandate. |
Certifying Statement | Our hardware and software were sufficiently tested and verified with accordance to the FMCSA ELD Test Procedures. Our app was installed and tested and various devices, including different sizes of on both phones and tablets that run both Android and iOS. Testing was done in real vehicles as well as a J-1939 virtual simulator. PCS Software certifies that Trucker ELD is tested to meet the FMCSA requirements set in the Subpart B of Part 395 of title 49, Code of Federal Regulations. |
