Model Information

Data Transfer Methods1. That the supported and certified data transfer mechanisms by which the TXTEsolutions’ ELD will transfer data are as follows: a. USB 2.0 and Bluetooth b. Web Service and Email 2. Step-by-step instructions for a driver to produce and transfer the ELD records to an authorized safety official, as follows: a. Enter any file comments as requested by the Officer b. Select your transfer method: USB or BLUETOOTH or Email or Web Service i. If you have selected the “USB” method, plug the USB drive into the USB port and the transfer will occur automatically. ii. If you have selected BLUETOOTH, ensure that the pairing option is active on the Officer’s device, follow the onscreen prompts to enter the pairing code. once the devices become connected the transfer will occur automatically. iii. If you have selected Web Service or Email transfer, the transfer will be done automatically. No further steps are required
Malfunction Notes1. A “Data Recording Compliance Malfunction” is set when the ELD can no longer record or retain required events or retrieve recorded logs that are not kept remotely by the motor carrier. 2. A “Timing compliance malfunction” is set when the ELD local time deviation to Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) reaches 10 minutes. 3. A “Power Data Diagnostic Malfunction” is set, when the ELD is not powered for an aggregated in-motion driving time of 30 minutes or more over a 24-hour period across all driver profiles. 4. A “Engine Synchronization Malfunction” is set when ECM connectivity to any of the required data sources (VIN, engine power status, vehicle motion status, odometer, and engine hours) is lost for more than 30 minutes during a 24-hour period aggregated across all driver profiles. 5. A “Position Compliance Malfunction” is set when an ELD fails to acquire a valid position measurement within 5 miles of the commercial motor vehicle for an accumulated 60 minutes in 24hr period. 6. A “Data Transfer Malfunction” is set when the ELD stays in the unconfirmed data transfer mode following the next three consecutive data transfer monitoring checks. 7. An “Unidentified Driving Records Data Diagnostic Event” is set when more than 30 minutes of driving time for an unidentified driver is recorded within a 24-hour period.
Certifying StatementUnder penalties of perjury, We hereby certify on behalf of TXT Esolutions Inc. that ELD model 5.0 and version 5.0 has been sufficiently tested to meet the functional requirements included in the technical specifications in the Appendix to subpart B of part 395, title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations, under the conditions in which the ELD would be used.
