Data Transfer MethodsThe driver has the ability to email the log book using the driver display tablet to a requesting DOT officer directly from the driver application that has a continuous wireless internet connection via the global SPRINT wireless cellular network or by manually removing the driver display tablet from the truck as a handheld mobile device so that the DOT officer can independently review the log book. The driver display tablet also runs a continuous web services XML feed to our back-end data base that supplies our GUI with real time data so that the motor carrier home office can access information via the internet on the Propel GPS web portal. We have a fully functional web service and as soon as the FMCSA is ready to receive data transfers at roadside and provide us with the specs we will make the necessary changes to meet the requirements.
